AODRESS

AODRESS works are inspired by travels around the world and the impressions left by all the people, things, and ideas that are encountered along the way. AODRESS was launched in 2009 by Mitsunori Ishimatsu and Miho Kuroda producing pieces of work using cloth and old clothing collected from around the world.

When traveling in India in 2012, Ishimatsu and Kuroda met traditional artisan embroidery craftsmen and experienced the beautiful fabrics created by hand weaving. They realized the reality of lost manual work and beauty it produced. Working together AODRESS produced dress line that combine tradition and their sensibility.
